Shutters are the singular best product to use when it comes to specialty shape windows because they can be custom made to follow every line of the window, and still offer louvers that tilt open and close, and doors that swing open on hinges. Angles, curves, circles, arches, half ovals, half circles, eyebrow arches, quarter circles, trapezoids, and even windows that we don't even know what to call them (like the one pictured). We can assure that your specialty shape window will still look amazing, but offer the functionality that you prefer.

Our Solar Shield Honeycomb Shades can be cut to fit a number of shapes to give you energy efficiency, light control, and privacy on windows that otherwise might be very difficult to cover. Some honeycomb specialty shape shades can be functional, or partially functional, while others are stationary and don't ever move once installed. Our Design Specialists will help you find the perfect product option, which does always depend on the shape and size of the window.

Roller Shades can be used on specialty shaped windows when there are straight lines. While we do have access to some arched options for roller shades, typically we use these on angle top windows or trapezoid shaped windows. This gives a stationary product that matches the other roller shades in the lower windows of a room and creates the light and privacy control desired to make the room more comfortable and inviting. Roman Shades and Natural Woven Roman Shades can be custom made with specialty shaped valances that can follow curves or straight lines to allow us room to mount a functional shade below. The goal is to keep the look of the architecture, while creating the light, privacy, and energy efficiency the window needs to create a more comfortable living space. Roman Shades can be operated by using a cordless lift system, a chain loop control, and they can even be fully motorized using our Solar Shield Automation options.
