Top Down Bottom Up:

Honeycomb Shades have a very unique operating feature called Top Down Bottom Up, which allows you to pull the top rail of the shade down to gain a view to the outside, but maintain privacy inside your space. Honeycomb Shades offer plenty of versatility as well as energy efficiency, and the TDBU option make them even better!

  • What fabric and color options are available for Honeycomb Shades?

    With over 100 fabrics to choose from, there is sure to be color you're looking for! We have three types of fabrics to choose from, depending on the solution you're going for. 


    1. Light Filtering: The light filtering honeycomb fabric allow light to softly glow through the fabric, offering comfortable light glow during the day, and full privacy at night, while also cutting out harsh, direct sunlight. Hot or cold, the light filtering fabric will help insulate the inside of your space from the inclament tempatures of the outdoors. 


    2. Room Darkening: The room darkening fabric has an inner milar lining that blocks all incoming light across the face of the fabric so light can't bleed or glow through. This allows better light control for sleeping areas. 


    3. Sheer: We offer a selection of sheer pleated and honeycomb fabrics that can be used along with our light filtering or room darkening fabrics to create a complete privacy and light control solution for any space.


    Our Design Specialists will help you with color and texture selection as a part of your free in-home consultation. We bring the swatches and samples to your home so you can see the colors in your lighting and in your space. 

  • What are the different operating systems available for Honeycomb Shades?

    Our Honeycomb Shades have four operating systems to choose from:


    -Cord Loop

    -Cordless (Child Safe)

    -PowerWand (Child Safe)

    -Motorized / Automated (Child Safe)


    Our Design Specialists will help you determine the proper operating system for your windows. 

  • How long does it take to get Honeycomb Shades installed?

    Our typical lead time for Honeycomb Shades is between 4 to 6 weeks from order to final installation. Our professional installers will make quick work of installing your new shades and most of our projects are completed within one installation day. Your Design Specialist will give you the most current estimated dates at the time you place your order.

    Yes, our custom shades come with transferable warranties. If you move, the warranty continues, offering peace of mind and lasting protection for your window treatments.
